One of our most prized Snowmass engendered females. Snowmass Sizlin Sunshine is a cross between Snowmass Sizlin Hot and Snowmass Casanova's Charisma. Sizlin Sunshine brings not only very fine alpacas into our herd but she brings in many colorful imported lines. Snowmass Sizlin Hot is the son of 5Peruvian Red Hot, a full Peruvian Snowmass stud who had brung many glossy fleeces and champion alpacas, now sadly deceased.
Purchased a long time ago in auction from Snowmass Alpacas, the same year we purchased our dynamic trio of males; Snowmass Reserved, Snowmass Premonition, and Snowmass Matrix Rose. These four alpacas started our breeding program, and brought our genetic lines to where they are now.
Snowmass Sizlin Sunshine was bred to Snowmass Matrix Rose when we purchsed her, so our ideal thought was we wouldn't get any Matrix Rose crias until 2011, why wait if we can have a early one in 2010? With two females at the auction bred to Snowmass Matrix Rose (Sunshine being one of them) we went based off of well luck, and we got, in the end, our 12X CHAMPION, 2016 Herdsire Of the Year & 2017 reserve Herdsire Of the Year winner -- Snowmass Mr Sizlin Rose, also sire of the 3X AOA NATIONAL DARK MALE SUPREME CHAMPION -- Red Granites Val D Lsere.
She stamped her offspring, her offspring stamped theirs, and theirs did the same. The power of her genetic line are priceless in our eyes, and we will forever favor them. With never getting a female from her during her breeding years, we have relied on Snowmass Mr Sizlin Rose to give us her favorable female genes, and he hasn't let us down.
Sizlin Sunshine now grazes peacefully in our old gal' pasture/pen, looking over her royal line she gave us. Until her time comes and when it comes and she goes, she will have a spot in our hearts forever.
