Red Granites Pecos Pete is one of the few offspring by MFI Pistol that reside outside of the US, and is the first son to stand in Australia. He stands at EP Cambridge Alpaca Stud. He was picked up by Matthew and Cathy after he won his class at the 2018 AOA National Show.

He is without a doubt one of the best indefinite-black alpacas produced by Red Granite Ranch. His high frequency crimp style added with incredible density and brightness is what caught all judges' eyes when they evaulated him, placing him at the top of his class at many international shows, more than once may we add. At the end of his show career he was a respectful five-time champion.

His sire, MFI Pistol (First purchased for $230,000 at a Breeders Choice Auction) was a multi-champion himself, heck he won his last two champion banners at the 2012 Mapaca Jubilee and North American Alpaca Show, later placing first at the AOBA National Show. Pistol was also an All American Futurity Champion, he was a STAR during his days for sure.

The dam of Pecos Pete, Presido's Ausable Pirouette is a multi-champion, true black female who is one of our top production females. Her true success' are in her offspring, two of which now reside in Australia (Pecos Pete & Pixie).
