The crème de la crème of our black breeding program. Red Granites Sizlin Sunrise is an exceptional true black female sired by Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose, and is one of his first born progeny. Her dam is none other than our Snowmass Incandescence daughter; Snowmass Sunset Dreams. Her genetics will truly take your breath away. Sizlin Sunrise carries an extremely bright and dense fleece for a black that at 3 years had an AFD of 21.6 with a 4.0 SD with a fleece weight of 8 pounds, and at 8 yrs, 22.6 AFD and 4.0 SD and a fleece weight of 8.2 pounds, very impressive for not only her color but her age. Sizlin Sunrise took a Color Champion win in Texas at the 2014 TXOLAN Alpaca Spectacular, she won over our other top black girl, Red Granites Allison. She also placed first at the 2015 Futurity with glowing comments. Sizlin Sunrise has been bred to three of our premier studs: CCNF Legionnaire, MFI Pistol and Kiriwn. She gave birth to all girls that all carry black points. Her 2019 daughter, Red Granites Saule, carried a 17.5 AFD 4.2 SD fleece at 2YO. All of her offspring are holding their fineness and are not reaching micron numbers in the 20s-22s until age five.
