We are now closing Legionnaire to outside breedings. With hi weight fluctuation and age we think it best to keep him in house. He has many sons working for us! To say we were excited to partner with Amber Autumn Alpacas with CCNF Legionnaire at the 2014 Breeders Edge Auction would be an understatement, a huge one. In a long run, Legionnaire went on to be the highest selling alpaca at the auction (we bought him for $57,500), figures considering this guys genetics. This spectacular yo ...

This spectacular young male was the 2015 Futurity Fawn Male Color Champion & 2015 AOA National Fawn Male Reserve Champion!! Two of the most prestigious shows in the alpaca industry and he took home purple. Ending his show career with four Judges' Choice awards and nine Championship awards. By one of the world’s great sires, out of a female from a sensational family line who has made a huge impact on the United States industry, here we have a male bred on a cross that has been proven to produce champions. CCNF Legionnaire, a son of Snowmass Matirx Majesty, has enjoyed extraordinary success as a sire with championship winners in both the United States and Canada and his offspring being found in Poland, United States, Canada, and Australia. Overall, his offspring have won many championships and even Judges’ Choice and National Championship titles. Even more impressive, his son Red Granites Pallaton (Now resides in Poland) won the 2018 Canadian Supreme Champion Male award, Palltons offspring have had much success in the Canadian show rings themselves. Another son by Legionnaire, Red Granites Man of Mystery (Owned by Willow Wind Farm Alpacas) is the densest alpaca yet biopsied by Ian Watt in the USA, and we have not yet heard of a denser alpaca out there a at a whopping 127.2 follicles/square mm density. His daughter, Red Granites Pixie was sold at the 2018 Amber Autumn Auction for a pretty penny, where she was purchased by EP Cambridge Alpaca Stud in Australia. Combining Cas-Cad-Nac's powerhouse production female; CCNF Magdalena and Snowmass Matrix Majesty you would only hope for an advanced fleece, Legionnaire carries a extremely advanced fleece. He carried a six year old fleece with a AFD of 17.3 and SD of 2.5, SIMPLY UNREAL numbers for a six year old BREEDING male. Legionnaire's breedings are limited, please contact us for more information.

VAC's Beethoven's Primrose is a gorgeous bay black female who has been so instrumental in producing our lead color genetic lines. Daughter of NM Beethoven and VAC's Blue Indigo we knew she would be an impact female when we purchased her. Her pedigree is impressive with a very exciting color background that we are able to cross with any one of our Herdsires. Primrose herself is a five-time color championship winner and has placed first at some of the top shows in the country. Primrose has p ...

Primrose has produced crias that are all very highly rated in both fleece and frame, with each of them having at least one championship win. Red Granites Party Girl is one of the most premier Dark Browns we have ever produced and won the 2019 Futurity Brown Female Championship as a juvenile and this was Primrose's daughter, sired by Red Granites Val D Lsere. She has been bred back to Val D Lsere now three times since producing Party Girl, her third was a drop dead gorgeous black female that was born this past summer (July 2021), we named her Party Gal. Take a look at her 2021 Histogram numbers, her numbers are off the charts for her age but as a BLACK it makes them even more special. Primrose is not for sale she is placed on our website as a foundation female for those who view her crias. :)
Details
Red Granites Pantaleon — easily one of the most attractive males we have on the ranch currently. His upright, proud presence with full coverage from head to toes, and impressing density and uniformity make him even more attractive. He is a beautiful deep chesnut color to add, and is a two-time Champion (always standing behind our brown super-champ MR Coronado) from two of our best producing animals at Red Granite Ranch. He is destined to sire many show winning, seed-stock quality offspring.
Son of CCNF Legionnaire, our medium fawn Herdsire who was the 2015 Futurity Fawn Male Color Champion winner. Legionnaire is the sire of the densest alpaca biopsied by Ian Watt in the USA, possibly the world (Red Granites Man of Mystery) and also sire to the Canadian Supreme Champion Male (Red Granites Pallaton who now resides in Poland). Legionnaire’s offspring can be found in Poland and at EP Cambridge Alpaca Stud in Australia, while his genetics can be found all over the world, impressive…..
Pantaleon is by our best black female, VAC Beethoven’s Primrose who is also a champion, respectively. She is the dam of Red Granites Party Girl (12X Champion, Judges’ Choice winner) the 2019 Futurity Brown Female Color Champion as a juvenile, RGR USA Pride By Val D Lsere the highest selling female at the 2022 Amber Autumn Auction for $41,000, and Red Granites Party Gal By Val D Lsere who at her first show received a first place. Primrose carries Beethoven as her sire, making her a pre potent producer of color….
We have now had many Pantaleon progeny. He is producing beautiful offspring with full-coverage phenotypes, extremely fine fleeces with staple length. His female offspring are so favored by our clients and are hard to keep in stock.
