Here at Red Granite Ranch, our mission is to build an elite herd of alpacas with every breeding decision we make. Since opening in 2009, this pursuit has allowed us to create an award-winning ranch with animals proven to be competitive in the show ring. Our fleeces are dense, fine, and uniform, so you can trust that our fleece products are the best in the business.

We take great pride in have been awarded the 2020 James G. King Industry Recognition Award. Our Herdsires have won equally impressive award winning Futurity Herdsire of the Year awards for Dark & Light Offspring, and "Get of Sire" wins all across the country. From the very beginning, we began making purchases and breeding decisions that would allow us to build a herd of elite alpacas. We wanted Alpacas that would pass on to their offspring good health, superior conformation, lasting fineness, density, and uniformity in their fleece. We are preparing our herd not only to be competitive in the show ring but also profitable in the developing fiber market.

Jessica Rarden
Graphic Designer & OwnerJessie as she is known as, is the Milligans youngest daughter. Jessie used to be the Milligans full-time graphic designer and then she brought 5 beautiful children into the world, so being an other has slightly stoped her appearance at shows and working the graphics. She went to school for Graphic Design and Photography. Her eldest daughter, Cadence, has taken on that role with the help of her mom. Jessie is very knowledgeable about the alpacas and helps her daughter run Ironhide Alpacas.

Media Manager, Graphics Desinger, Photographer & OwnerCadence is Marc & Sharon's granddaughter. She was born and raised around the alpacas! Cadence controls anything that is media related and keeps the website up to date with fresh information for clients. Besides that, Cadence is also the Milligan's photographer & designer. She owns her own private herd called Ironhide Alpacas, and her own graphic business called Ironhide Graphics. Cadence will be starting her venture into Vet School in the Fall, where she hopes to specialize in large animals & camelids.
