After searching for a new Stud Male of dark-color that we can cross with our other Herdsires, we think we have found the one. Please meet Majestic's AA Fireball! He is an exciting up and coming male for the Red Granite Ranch Herdsire line-up. We purchased him from Acadiana Alpacas & Majestic Meadow Alpacas from the 2024 Futurity Auction!
His evolution descends from a remarkable lineage of momentous sires. Most directly is his own sire, Snowmass Stylish Enlightening, who is a multi-champion rose grey stud. He is sired by multi-champion, Snowmass Enlightened who is sired by multi-champion Snowmass XXXtreme, who is sired by multi-champion Snowmass Royal Rose. The maternal lineage of Snowmass Stlish Enlightening includes: Snowmass Royal Bronze, Snowmass Nova, Snowmass Peruvian Casanova, and Snowmasss Andean Bronze. Not only is the sires line impressive but the dam of Fireball holds here own as well, being a National Champion in her own right. She is sired by the remarkable Aussie. 38 Special and out of a 4Peruvian Black Magic granddaughter.
All of this is a proven grey performance at its paramount matched with incredible colored huacayas. We highly encourage you take a look at this males pedigree: generations after generations of ELITE champion seed-stock alpacas is represented in it!
Fireball's fleece is extremely long stapled with an incredible soft handle. He has impressive fineness, uniformity, density, and an extremely bright fleece at his young age, which drew us to him. His phenotype is spot on with full coverage from head-to-toe and great circumference of bone for age. Add on a beautiful and pleasing head style and we have a full-package male.
A genetic cocktail of the best colored and grey males to grace the North American huacaya herds, plus an extremely long, fine, dense, uniform, and soft handling fleece - FIREBALL has all of the needed attributes to become a great Stud Male here at RGR.
