Red Granites Cryptonite

Now this is a unique and truly incredible male from head to toe. Data is the ultimate judge of an alpaca’s merit. Show placements under multiple certified judges, combined with lifetime micron testing, paint the most accurate picture of an animal’s value. Across both halter and fleece, every indicator suggests that RGR Boco Raton By Val D Lsere is poised to be an influential and breed-advancing Herdsire. At this moment in time, he profiles competitively alongside some of the most elite, high-impact Huacaya males, particularly within the industry’s most competitive color divisions: fawn and brown. His show record speaks for itself. A five-time Judges’ Choice winner, three of those earned as a mature male. He is also a two-time Best Bred & Owned Male, an impressive 28-time Champion, Spirit of the Industry winner, and Best Crimp/Best Handle winner with a mature fleece. Among his many accolades, he captured the 2024 AOA National Fawn Male Reserve Color Champion in both halter and fleece as a mature breeding male, earlier claimed the 2023 Futurity Fawn Male Color Champion title as a two-year-old, and was the 2025 AOA National Brown Male Color Champion. A standout since birth, he is a super stylish, well-balanced male with an exceptionally appealing head style. As Julio Sumar often said, “The head is the way into a great alpaca,” and that statement rings true here. His fleece is fine and remarkably dense, exhibiting highly aligned fibers across the entire blanket with exceptional micron uniformity. He carries excellent coverage, presenting a soft, bright, and beautifully even coloration. High-amplitude, high-frequency crimp bundles are expressed consistently from shoulder to mid-side to rump, with minimal variation—a hallmark of elite fleece architecture. His pedigree is equally impeccable. Snowmass Matrix Rose appears on both the sire and dam side, supported by influential genetics such as Snowmass Conopa XXX and MFI Peruvian Presumption, among others. This intentional line-breeding concentration positions Boco Raton to be a prepotent producer of uniformly fine, dense, and highly organized fleeces. His first cria arrived in 2024, five in total: White, Beige, Bay Black, Medium Fawn, and Light Brown. Across the board, we are seeing the hallmarks of his influence: exceptional density, high-frequency crimp style, strong uniformity, and beautiful head types. Many are already proving themselves as top show winners, and auction high-sellers for upward of $25,000. AOA judge Beverly Brehm, has purchased three breedings to Boco Raton, a testament to his quality. There is simply so much to admire in this well-mannered, complete male that only a fraction can fit within a single description, he is the next generation Herdsire...
