We proudly co-own this male with North Plains Alpacas! Tim had approached us at GWAS and gave us an offer that we just could not refuse, so, Rum Runner has joined the Herdsire row at Red Granite Ranch! Red Granites Caitlyn

Huacaya Female Dark Fawn

AOA# 35489825 DOB: 5/22/20197 yrs
Red Granites Caitlyn is a beautiful CCNF Legionnaire daughter out of a Color Champion Snowmass Matrix Rose daughter. Excellent retained fineness with a low CV value, meaning that she is exceptionally uniform between her primary and secondary fibers. She has produced 3 excellent progeny for us, 2 roans and a solid brown. She would be an interesting candidate to breed for exciting colors because of her solid production of roan, so far, and her paternal brother being Red Granites Man of Mystery ...

Details
Red Granites Cartavino is from the first cria crop sired by Futurity Champion, NPA Rum Runner (co-owned with North Plains Alpacas), and we could not be more pleased with the quality he is producing.

Cartavino is an elegant female with a feminine presence and a beautiful phenotype. Her fleece is long-stapling, exceptionally bright, uniform, and incredibly soft-handling, making her an exciting female both in and out of the show ring.

Her pedigree is stacked with proven genetics, including A and A & MFI Quixotic, DDF Peruvian Rico Suave, CCNF Legionnaire, ELK Dom Lucilio's Eclipse, and Snowmass Matrix Rose—a combination that brings together consistency, elite fleece traits, and lasting production value.

Cartavino represents an outstanding opportunity to add quality and depth to any breeding program. She sells with a free, non-transferable maiden breeding, and for her first pairing, we highly recommend 18x Champion, AMAF's Top Gun to create an exceptional next-generation cria that will hopefully bring out her grey genetics!!
