This was our first time using Harvest Host and it set the bar high! Everything was wonderful and the hosts were so kind and accommodating when we pulled in during a snow storm. They treat their animals so well, and we had a blast seeing the babies play. Also, the store has high quality products. I bought socks and a headband. I've never felt warmer!

Sharon and team were absolutely amazing. We received a warm welcome, a fabulous tour of the property and animals. Everything was well taken care of and you could just see and feel how much love is in the property. The store is fantastic and we came home with comfy Alpaca socks and mittens! Plus getting to interact with the Alpaca, you couldnt help but smile.

Our stay at the Red Granite Ranch can only be summarized as top of class, the crown jewel of harvest hosts! The owners of this place deserve an award for “Best Harvest Hosts”! Our entire time there was awesome! From the moment Mark met us at the gate we had an incredible experience! The ranch is located in a gorgeous setting with spectacular mountain views. The most beautiful Alpacas everywhere enjoying themselves in huge pens, alpaca babies frolicking, like straight out of a movie! Mark and Sharon couldn’t have been nicer and more hospitable! Such great people who epitomize the concept of harvest hosts for us! Although we arrived quite late in the afternoon Mark gave us a very informative tour of their incredibly clean and up-to-date alpaca farm, the fleece, caretaking of the animals and more. He has a fascinating background and a super sense of humor! We were able to interact with many of the adult and baby alpacas in an enormous barn. So fun! They’re THE calmest alpacas we’ve ever encountered! A great testimony to the excellent care and love they receive! We felt bad we took up so much of Mark’s time but we loved every minute of it! The next morning we woke up to a gorgeous sunrise! Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better we got to help with leading baby alpacas on a halter to be weighed! Such an epic experience! We were ready to cancel the rest of our trip and move right in! The entire team at the Red Granite Ranch, including Gary, Evan and others were to notch kind, gentle and friendly with the alpacas (and us guests :-)). At their very nice and organized store we bought a couple of pair of super soft alpaca socks, a very nice warm hat and dryer balls. Before we departed Sharon showed us where we could watch the alpacas being let out from the barn into the fields. Again, unforgettably beautiful experience! Thank you Sharon, Mark, Gary, Evan and the others for showing us such great hospitality! We can’t wait to come back someday!

This is an incredibly pristine, peaceful and enlivening place to visit. Sharon is a gracious and generous hostess with so much passion for her occupation as alpaca steward. The animals are adorable, friendly and endearing... oh and sooooo soft and cute! My family and I loved every moment of our visit, and I got some amazingly goregeous yarn to knit with!

Red Granite Ranch and hosts Sharon and Mark epitomize what a Harvest Host should be. This was an outstanding, interesting and informative experience. Mark and Sharon met us at the gate to their property. The gate was open but they like to meet people there and guide them to a beautiful location with loads of room for any type RV. We were the only guests that evening and they offered an Alpaca Ranch Tour shortly after we arrived. Being the only visitors you might expect a shortened tour but not here. This tour was excellent and lasted about 2 hours and the time flew by. They answered every question we asked and they were really engaged and generous with their time. Every aspect of the ranch was explained with many stories making the tour so interesting . They run a successful business that with love and caring for the animals in their stewardship. We visited their store and had no trouble finding high quality items to purchase. The next morning we met Sharon and Mark again along with their staff members while the the young Alpacas were being weighed. The staff members were were equally engaged in their work and sharing experiences with us. They confirmed how caring the owners are with the animals and themselves as employees. Marc & Sharon along with their staff, do a wonderful job of taking care of everything on the ranch. Everyone interacts with the alpacas so well that makes you want to return on another road trip. It was really a joy and pleasure to have met you all. I hope to return someday!

Hard to leave this place. So quiet and the alpacas are truly amazing. Got a beautiful and educational tour of the ranch from the owner. All staff especially the Barn Manager were helpful and so willing to share their knowledge and enhance your experience. Can't wait to visit again. Rough road for a RV but doable. Be sure to take the CR37 turnoff which is Red Mountain Ranch Rd.

My wife, Granddaughter and I all toured the Red Granite Ranch by appointment a month ago. Very interesting, educational a wonderful facility and awesome owners. We all even Purchased their highly recommend Alpaca socks. The owners you could tell this was their passion as they knew all the alpacas names the animals knew and interacted with them. Wonderful experience! 5 star!

My family and I have visited Red Granite Ranch twice now; the owners and staff have always been welcoming & informative. In fact Sharon has invited my niece and her girl-scout troop for a visit.

While I am a “City Slicker” I can see how all these animals are loved and cared for. Every one of the 400ish alpacas has a name; and staff and the owners can tell you about each of them. It’s amazing to see a large ranch with a small ranch feel. I can’t wait for my next visit

Red Granite Ranch is amazing.

Marc and Sharon are very knowledgeable about all things alpaca.

I love their alpacas, especially the babies. I love that they always look like they are smiling and when they have straw in their mouths, it’s beyond adorable.

They have many different colors of fleece that are made into yarn, socks, and other wearable items that are all beautiful and unique.

Thay are amazing and I got my animals from them cannon and Jeremy and that are my best friends thank you.
