Someone missed out on this female at the 2024 AAA, but we will gladly breed her!
Red Granites Shea is an astounding direct daughter of CCNF Legionnaire, a sire who has offspring all across the globe consuming major success! Shea's mother is our National White Color Champion female, H2R Seren, who also just happens to be a direct daughter of Snowmass Velvet Touche. A genetic cocktail crossing super-sires: Snowmass Conopa XXX, Snowmass Velvet Touche, and Snowmass Matrix Majesty! Shea already has a Color Champion win under her belt and will make a wonderful foundation dam!
A Color Champion winner in her own right, Red Granites Shea is an astounding direct daughter of CCNF Legionnaire, a sire who has offspring all across the globe consuming success at extreme extents. An internationally recognized stud male with offspring residing across the United States, Canada, Poland, the United Kingdom and Australia. His offspring are known for their impressive micron numbers which stay insanely fine and uniform throughout their lives as well as the density and frames he stamps onto his offspring. Legionnaire is the sire of multiple AOA National Champions, Canadian Supreme Champions, and even the densest alpaca biopsied by Ian Watt in the USA at 127.2 follicles/square mm density...
The dam of this female is none other than the 2017 AOA National White Female Color Champion recipient, H2R Seren. We purchased Seren at the 2017 Futurity Auction because of her genetics. She is sired by Snowmass Velvet Touche (Snowmass Touche son out of a Snowmass Royal Bronze/Snowmass XXXtreme cross), a two-time Futurity Champion, IAO Champion, and multi Herdsire of the Year winner. Seren's dam is H2R Seraphina, one of Happy Hounds most cherished foundation females.
Shea has the density, incredible fineness, lovely uniformity, brightness, and a very soft handling fleece. Her fleece is high-frequency with highly-aligned bundles, which are uniform, varying very little in micron numbers across her body. At the 2023 AOA National Fleece Show, Shea's fleece was entered in the Innovative Fleece Show at 11.9 months old. Her microns were as followed: Shoulder 18.6, Mid 15.2, Low/Mid 18.0, Rump 20, with an average micron of 18 and a variance of 4.8. Judges comments were "Uniform in style and density to the staples. Best for knitwear, suiting baby blankets, christening gowns, chemo caps, light weight scarves." She won 4th pace out of 6 in the "Dark" category (combination of dark animals).
In the Fall of 2023, Shea managed to secure her spot on the show team (again) and has won numerous top ribbons and even a Color Champion Fawn Female banner (above a multi Judges' Choice female)! Shea will continue to do well in the ring, there is no doubt about that.
