His sire, Red Granites Chisholm, whom we proudly share with Cory and Kim of Sopris Alpaca Farm, has proven himself to be an excellent and dependable sire. A National Champion in his own right, Chisholm is now seeing his progeny step into the ring and establish themselves as top show competitors.
On the maternal side, Lafayette is backed by Snowmass Loro Lass, an exceptional 13-micron, 2.9 SD daughter of the incredible and late Snowmass Loro Piana. Loro Lass brings together generations of genetics recognized for producing elite fleece characteristics, including the influence of Snowmass Quechua and Peruvian Hemingway. Loro Piana is most notably known for possesing incredible brightness that is seen through generations.
