Red Granites Sizlin Vivacious is a gorgeous female who has exceptionally fine fleece but it is the density and uniformity of micron across her body that really get her noticed. With a compact frame and bountiful coverage she is a quality package female. Red Granites Sizlin Vivacious, or "Vivi" as she is known her at the ranch is a super sweet and incredibly gentle with our grandkids and even young crias. Vivi is a stunning replica of her full-siblings: Val D Lsere, Sizlin Vegas, Verbier, Val Thorens and Vithosha. She is different in the way that she carries the longest staple length of her full-siblings. In 2020 Vivi gave birth to a stunning medium fawn male sired by Liberty's Manassas, we named him Red Granites Man of Valor. He made our 2022 show string and won a second and third place in the medium fawn yearling male divsion.

Red Granites Blue Bell is a proven production female with an elite pedigree, and a rare offering from our breeding program. She is the full sister to Red Granites Royal Brutus, the exceptional 30-time champion rose grey male now owned by Moose Creek Alpacas. Brutus has earned national recognition for his offspring, and Blue Bell shares the same outstanding genetics that made him a standout sire. With Snowmass Reserved as her sire, Blue Bell represents one of the last daughters of this incredible male remaining in our herd—making her availability a truly unique and limited opportunity for breeders focused on color, quality, and consistency. Over the years, Blue Bell has given us three beautiful crias, two females and one male. Her offspring average a healthy 16.5-pound birth weight and an average gestation of 337 days. Notably, her 2023 son, Red Granites Braveheart By Alydar, was selected for the 2025 Futurity Auction and sold to Roaring Acres Alpacas of Connecticut. We have chosen to retain her 2024 Val D Lsere daughter as Blue Bell's replacement in our herd. Blue Bell offers more than just potential, she delivers! With a champion-producing pedigree, reliable production record, and an exciting cria on the way, she would be a valuable asset to any breeder looking to elevate their color program. She is confirmed bred to AMAF's Top Gun, and this should be a stunning cria!

Luna is one of two current females sired by our favorite dark-colored Legionnaire son, Red Granites Tammerlane, who brings in BMF Taos’ Zeppelin, an AOBA National Black Fleece Champion & Herdsire of the Year Winner, Snowmass Matrix Majesty. A divine blend of genetics. At 6YO, Tammerlane had a 22.3-micron fleece with a 4.4 SD – which he passes on to his progeny! Luna’s dam is a Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose daughter, who is a champion in her own right. Lakota, comes from a remarkable maternal line that has never failed us, which starts with Irish Meadows' My Lacy, the 2015 AOA National Fawn Female Color Champion winner. At 8-years-old My Lacy held a 22.5-micron fleece with a 3.9 SD and a MEAN CURV of 53. Incredible. She is our favorite production female who is our "outcross" as she is a direct daughter of Sistina's Accoyo Destinati. All of her offspring thus far have bannered, and they range in colors from Black, Roan, Brown, and Light Fawn. In fact, her sons have 4 AOA National Black Championship banners combined. My Lacy's offspring in total have over 25 Championship banners. Look at her histograms -- Maintained fineness, uniformity, and frequency of the fleece is proven on both sides of her pedigree, so it is no mistake that she has it. She produced a stunning son out of Boco Raton in 2025, and is currently open.

Two of Pirouette's offspring reside with EP Cambridge Alpaca Stud, one at their AUS location, and the other on her way to their UK. Her son, Red Granites Pecos Pete stands stud to over 1500 females in AUS -- QUALITY, QUALITY, QUALITY. We all know that MR Sizlin Rose is one of the "go-to" herdsires in the United States when breeding black huacayas, as his offspring dominant the black show rings in fleece, halter, and walking fleece taking home champion banners and even judges' choice awards. At A Girl may not have rung it up in the show ring like her paternal siblings, but she sure has the qualities and so do her offspring! Her dam, Lancaster's Ausable Arabesque, is a direct daughter of 588 Peruvian Lancaster, an AOBA National Champion, Full Peruvian, stud male. At A Girl has been a stellar foundation female for us and now it is time for her to be a stellar foundation female for another farm as we lock her daughters, Red Granites At A Glance, and Red Granites At A Tood, into our herd. Let our loss be your gain! At A Girl is confirmed bred to multi-champion, Red Granites Denali for a Summer 2027 cria.

If you're in search of a foundation female with the ability to cover black, we invite you to consider Red Granites Skybird—an exceptional offering sired by MFI Pistol and out of Red Granites Sizlin Sunrise. Both of her parents are true black champions known for producing dense, high-quality fleeces, a trait clearly passed down to Skybird. Skybird comes directly from the heart of our foundation herd, and it’s rare for us to part with females of this caliber, especially at such a young age. However, with both her sires genetics and dam still active within our breeding program, and a wave of outstanding young females now entering our lineup, we’re facing space limitations. Otherwise, she would undoubtedly be staying!! In 2021, Skybird produced a highly impressive male by CCNF Legionnaire, demonstrating her ability to pass on quality genetics. We firmly believe that if bred to a black or dark brown male, she has the potential to produce an even more elite cria, possibly with enhanced color genetics and fleece traits. Skybird is a strategic choice for any breeder looking to add strong color potential, champion lineage, and proven production value to their program. Her fleece has a lavender harlequin coloration, a color we have continued to see from our black x black breedings. She would make an exciting foundation female for color breeders.

Red Granites Sunbeam Rose is the daughter of one of our greatest producing herdsires, Snowmass Matrix Rose. Sunbeam us half-sister to Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose who is the sire of our Red Granites Val D Lsere. From all these genetics Sunbeam Rose gets superior conformation, a dense, bright and fine uniform fleece. She has a beautiful head style, which compliments her very distinctive black points. The pedigree tells almost all for a color breeding program.

This black point female is as elite as they come. If you are looking for one that is stout and sound, then look no further! She is by the legendary Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose, one of the highest rated breeding males in the country proven through his ability to pass on extreme fineness, uniformity, density, brightness, and phenotype in every cria he has produced. Her dam is Red Granites Chiloquin, a true black daughter of Crescent Moon's Simtustus. Chiloquin produced 2022 AOA National Brown Walking Fleece Champion; Red Granites MR Coranado who is on our Herdsire row and producing stellar cria!! She has mainted excellent fiber characteristics as she has matured. Her low CV values should be noted as well as her retained fineness o 23.5 microns with a CV of 19 at 8-years-old. Sizlin Caroline is a proven mother who provides her crias with everything they need. She has an inquisistive personality and will become a farm favorite. It is time for her to do something good for YOU!!

Red Granites Sheba is an excellent representation of what Kirwin produced: large frames, exquisite phenotypes, dark-points, and an abundance of uniform fleece. He left his mark on this female. Crossing Kirwin with Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose daughters has always knocked it out of the park, Sheba is no exception. Her fleece is of a medium frequency and medium amplitude but when she is paired with high frequency males she produces incredible things.

Red Granites Saule is beautiful CCNF Legionnaire daughter out of a Color Champion winning, True Black Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose daughter: Red Granites Sizlin Sunrise. This is another maternal line that is beyond refute, and it starts with one of our first purchases of a Snowmass Incandescence daughter; Snowmass Sunset Dreams. Despite being of lighter coloring, she has produced incredible bay blacks and fawns that banner at shows. Her pedigree dates back to the "Ambrosian" line of Snowmass, which Happy Hound Alpacas (Oregon) has acquired and has on a tight lock. Sunset Dream's daughters have gone onto produce incredible offspring. One of the three males in our 2024 Destination Lot was a great grandson of Sunset Dreams. Combine that amazing maternal lineage with CCNF Legionnaire and you have an incredible female. Suffice to say, Saule would be a great purchase and she will jumpstart your program with her incredible genetics and prepotency. We are offering Saule with a free, non-transferable breeding. For this breeding we recommend 23-time White Champion, RGR Colo Lsere By Val D Lsere, or 21-time Champion RGR Colo lsere by Val D Lsere. Either breeding is sure to result in a stunning cria!

LibertyAlpacas Rosie Riveter is a beautiful female who we purchased at the 2023 Amber Autumn Invitational Auction from our good friends at Liberty Alpacas, Lorrie & Jeff! Grey breeders…Rosie Riveter is an eye-catching medium silver grey female who has a beautiful frame packed with impressive silver fleece! Aurora is a result of another line-breeding, this time on Aussie .38 Special. She is a daughter of Crescent Moon’s GunPowder & lead daughter of another dam that ticks the quality box! Her name is PJA Bomber’s Adrianna, and in addition to being a show champion herself, she is also the dam of: RGR All That BY Alydar, who is a dark brown juvenile male with extreme promise & True Black Red Granites Sizlin Adar who we sold last winter. Adrianna is unique in the fact that her dam was purchased from Pleasant Journey Alpacas to bring in some new gray names, namely, Emeralds Rincon Cloud & Bea 2 Bomber. We have a direct daughter of Rincon Cloud and she has done great things. Adrianna’s dam was the 2013 Futurity Grey Female Reserve Color Champion recipient and her sire, Bea-2-Bomber (owned by Cory Wesson & Annie Hunt) is a multi-champion and champion producer. So the quality is definitely there in this young female's pedigree. Aurora brings truly superior genetics for staple length and density, while also maintaining a good micron throughout the lifetime. Something we should also mention is the GunPowder & Lead line has been known to reduce the number of primaires on given females, so you can also expect Auroras cria to have a low count of primaries on average, which is a great thing indeed.

It carries forward a deep dedication to the indigenous Quechua people of the Peruvian Andes - hardworking families who sustain themselves through subsistence farming, wild crafting, and raising livestock suited to the rugged highland terrain. In 2017, Snowmass Alpacas was sold to Lynn Edens of Little Creek/Accoyo America Farms in New York. With her generosity, the Skinner children were able to retain a select group of elite Snowmass Alpacas to continue a small but highly refined breeding program. Today in 2026, the Quechua herd remains small yet exceptionally strong. The few alpacas we have sold are cherished as "gems" - the result of many decades of careful Snowmass breeding, now continued under the Quechua banner. Quechua Enterprise's (QE) is owned by 3rd generation Skinner children guided by parents, Don & Julie Skinner, who have been breeding alpacas for over 40 years. Their expertise in breeding exceptional alpacas has been their goal from the outset. We have recently made available the first group of young males (born 2023 & 2024) with outstanding genetics, sold to Red Granite Ranch and Ironhide Alpacas, along with four incredible upcoming males. These carefully selected individuals carry forward the program with exceptional promise. Red Granites Chandler Bay has been a quietly kept secret here at Red Granite and now is the time to bring him forward as he takes a major role in our breeding program. Bred from multi-champion, MFI Master At Arms and from Red Granites Coos Bay who herself is a MFI Pistol daughter, he won the 2003 All American Grand Champion banner as a Black and was one of the most sought after black males in his younger days. This male, Chandler Bay, has been selected to be used as a sire as he brings another dimension to the Black Breeding lines here at the ranch. He is very robust and has great substance of bone and strength. His fleece is extremely dense, long stapled, which his dam’s line is famous for, and the fibers are uniform in color and micron. With the additional black genetics originating from his dam. Red Granites Chandler Bay gives us a valuable option where color needs to be brought to the fore whilst still adding high quality and productivity. His show career was short, but coming back as a 2-Year-Old male he won the 2022 Great Western Alpaca Show Black Male Reserve Color Champion banner, this is one of the largest and most competitive shows in the United States! We are loving what Chandler Bay is doing as a sire! So far, he has sired primarily blue black progeny and one fawn/roan. All have long staples with intense brightness and architecture to their fleece. We are offering Chandler Bay for sale, please contact us for for information!

A dreamy medium brown, fleece coming from an exquisite line of the finest WHITE & COLORED huacaya genetics - we expect this one to do some rather large things in the upcoming years... We are proud to introduce you to Red Granites Salty By Val D Lsere, who, at such a young age, has all the qualities we look for in a Herdsire. He has incredible strength of bone with perfect conformation, and a glance into his paddock confirms that he is a 'look at me' male with eye-catching presence. With such a rich medium brown colored fleece he carries through with exceptional fleece qualities ticking all the boxes for: fineness, density, staple length, brightness, color, and uniformity across the blanket and within individual staples. His uniformity of micron is what brought him his first championship banner in walking fleece (at his first show to add) winning with 70+ points out of 80, as he carries very little strong primary fibers in to his brisket area - which is something every breeder is striving for! With Red Granites Val D Lsere as his sire, a male who is demonstrating the longevity of fineness and fleece qualities in his progeny, we are expecting Salty to maintain his excellent fleece attributes. Even more, this is backed by the impressive maternal lineage that Satly has. His dam, Snowmass Heavens Spice is a two-time AOA National White Champion. She comes directly from the heart of Snowmass Alpacas' finest reserved white lines, meaning she is laced with the finest genetics that Snowmass has ever produced. Her maternal line brings in Futurity Champion; Snowmass Sweet Sage, a Snowmass Touche' daughter matched with Futurity Champion lineage Snowmass Conopa’s Kahuna, a Snowmass Conopa XXX son. And while being a direct daughter of Snowmass Heaven’s Guardian (one of the best Snowmass Elite Legend sons born) she practically ensures longevity in both fineness and uniformity of micron through the life of the alpaca! Red Granites Salty By Val D Lsere is a full-brother to Red Granites Sassafras By Val D Lsere, the 2021 Futurity White Female Reserve Color Champion and Judges' Choice winner!

This male comes from generation after generation of pure excellence... Colo Lsere is by Red Granites Val D Lsere, who by now needs no introduction, and is out of one of our lead production dams who has never disappointed, Little Carmela. This makes him a full brother to: Red Granites Cinnamon (2019 AOA National Fleece Show Fawn Female Color Champion, 2020 AOA National Fawn Female Color Champion, multiple Judges’ Choice winners & auction high-seller who resides in Belgium), Red Granites Casper (2021 Futurity White Male Color Champion, 2020 AOA National Fleece Show White Male Reserve Color Champion & Fleece Judges’ Choice winner), and Red Granites Carmelita (Reserve Champion winner owned by Heather Glen Alpacas). The proof is in the progeny folks!!! We highly encourage you to take a deep dive into the maternal side of this males pedigree because it isn’t every day a foundation females samples champion winning progeny each time she is bred… Colo Lsere has taken on the family tradition, following in his sibling's footsteps. As a juvenile he has an impressive show record having won 3 Championships (throughout halter and walking fleece), this also includes his ever-so-impressive win at the 2023 AOA National White Male Color Champion in a class of 29 white males under Wade Gease, an incredible accomplishment for a juvenile!! He continued his success in fleece shows. At the 2024 IFA PNAA Show he won the Grade 1 White Reserve Color Champion banner with great comments from the judge! He has been called a “fleece monster” with “extraordinary fineness and uniformity” and “superior fleece rate growth for age”. You truly have to get your hands on this male to care of his quality. Where do we start with this male? Red Granites Prince Caspian is the darkest son of CCNF Legionnaire to date and has become one of our favorite sons and a habitable banner winner. CCNF Legionnaire’s genotype is Ee AA meaning the darkest he can produce is dark brown, so we know Prince Caspian has an “A” from his sire and with the black spot on his butt we know he has an “a”. Our best guess is his genotype is Ee Aa - he will be tested to confirm this soon. Born as a bay black coloration, he was sheared and then showed his true color as a dark brown with black points on his ears, around his eyes, on his feet, and muzzle. We are extremely pleased with how he is developing and are expecting his crias in 2025. Phenotypically, Prince Caspian is correct with excellent circumference of bone with excellent coverage - adding onto the fact that he has the picture-perfect head that we want on all of our animals. His fleece shows a great degree of brightness, extreme fineness and uniformity, and density, density, density with an abundance of fleece being produced!!! This has been the exact thing we get when crossing CCNF Legionnaire with Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose, both monumental sires of the Red Granite Ranch breeding program with internationally recognized offspring… CCNF Legionnaire has crias winning huge across the entirety of North America, including Canada! Two of his sons have won Canadian Supreme Championship trophies, and one even won Mature Huacaya of the Year. Legionnaire also sired the densest alpaca biopsied by Ian Watt in the world. Legionnaire is aging and has lost his molars so his sons and daughters are becoming even more close to us as we know time is closing. The dam of Prince Caspian is Red Granites Sizlin Cherub, a Medium-Dark Brown, black-pointed foundation female sired by Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose and out of LMFI Peruvian cherish, a direct daughter of Majestic Peruvian Jeremiah. Sizlin Cherub has an extremely fine fleece with an incredibly soft handle. She ranks in the Top 1% for %M and in the Top 5% for SDAFD. In 2023, at 6 years old she has a 23-micron fleece with a 4.1 SD, just as impressive as ever in our eyes. Prince Caspian won his first Color Championship in the Fall of 2023 at A-OK Rose Rock under Jacob Hart, comments included: “Clear winner”. His first Reserve Championship was won at the 2024 TXOLAN Sweetheart Spectacular under Amanda VandenBosch, comments included: “Compact in frame..great consistency from front to back…great combination of fineness and density…super soft handle…handle is exquisite.” A top show winner that judges love!! Shiftin Gears was an ELITE male who shifted things into gears, with PERUVIAN & ACCOYO genetics to produce fine superior heavy-fleeced alpacas. He was a direct son of 6Peruvian Accoyo Elite 5057 crossed with a Full Peruvian, Peruvian Geronimo G187 daughter to give him the consistency in his fineness over a touch of a heavy fleece weight that has weighed 14 pounds in 2010 at 6-years-old. A National Champion in his own right, Chisholm is now seeing his progeny step into the ring and establish themselves as top show competitors. On the maternal side, Lafayette is backed by Snowmass Loro Lass, an exceptional 13-micron, 2.9 SD daughter of the incredible and late Snowmass Loro Piana. Loro Lass brings together generations of genetics recognized for producing elite fleece characteristics, including the influence of Snowmass Quechua and Peruvian Hemingway. Loro Piana is most notably known for possesing incredible brightness that is seen through generations. Dig a little deeper into Lafayette's pedigree and it becomes even more interesting: Snowmass Quechua, 6Peruvian Accoyo Elite, and Peruvian Hemingway account for approximately 43% of his genome. This is an intentional concentration of Snowmass × Accoyo × Hemingway genetics, stacking generations of influence behind the fineness, brightness, density, uniformity, and fleece character we're already seeing in Lafayette. With National-level recognition already behind him and an exciting future ahead, Lafayette is exactly the kind of young male we love watching develop. This one is absolutely ONE TO WATCH!
