In early Roman mythology, Cerus (or Kerus) was a male spirit of growth and the god of the spring season.

This boy was up and at them like clockwork!! From the moment he hit the ground (literally), he was running. Despite being born at 12AM, this guy thankfully learned the ropes quickly!! His fleece is very bright!

This young male is DENSE!! He sadly suffered an ear injury from someone biting it, but it is healing well and he is on the road to recovery.

Blue ribbon winner at the Great Western Alpaca Show is a distinction not many alpacas can claim. That should alert you to the qualities held within Taos. His fleece is amazingly well put together and demonstrates a very significant blend of fineness and density. We arent surprised by any of this as his heritage demands such quality.

Red Granites Bon Jovi is a male of genetics that yield high shear weight and long stapled animals. Two names to prove this would be: Crescent Moon's Shiftin Gears (maternal-grandfather) and Greener Pastures Pearl Jam (paternal-grandfather), both are multiple champions in their own rights. Bon Jovi doesn't have the most attractive head type, but if bred to a consist line of shorter muzzled females we know that'll be an easy fix from our experience with this specific lineage. He has a stunning frame with large bones and great capacity and size for his age, overall he is a perfect junior Herdsire candidate... In 2023, he sheared 7.5 pounds of fleece that tested at 5.51 inches (140.0mm) with a micron of 18.6 and an SD of 3.9 - pretty impressive in our eyes considering he was previously cria shorn in August of 2022, leaving him with about 10 months of fleece growth. His sire, at 7 years of age in 2023, sheared 11.8 pounds of fleece with a 4.25 in staple (108mm) in 2023, he ranks as the 39th male in the country for Fleece Weight on his 2022 EPD stats. Red Granites Bon Jovi in stacked himself with his EPD traits. He ranks in the Top 5% for SDAFD and FW, Top 10% for SF, %>30, and %M, while ranking in the Top 15% for AFD and MC. His COI is 0.0%. His EPDs further support this confidence, ranking him in the Top 5% for uniformity, while his yearly histograms demonstrate lasting fineness paired with consistently long staple length and a low CV value remainig below 20%. This is a young male with both the genetic foundation and fiber quality to make a meaningful impact!!

Red Granites Juneau (Jun-no) comes from a very sacred maternal line, one that we have only ever seen in very few alpacas with that said line still breeding today. His maternal-sister & 3/4 sister, Red Granites Stardust by Val D Lsere, is a multi-champion and Judges' Choice winner owned by our friends at Sugarland Alpaca Ranch. We are excited to see what this young male does.

This one is going to be trouble in the ring!!

Red Granites Snowballs Chance… what are the chances a breakout results in a cria this good? Pretty slim, but sometimes you get lucky! This young male has had us impressed from the start. His fleece is loaded with brilliant brightness, beautiful fineness, and impressive uniformity, all wrapped up in an exciting overall package. He’s the kind that makes you stop, take another look, and get a little more excited every time you put your hands on him. A “Snowball’s Chance?” Maybe, but we sure like our odds with this one!

Red Granites Lynx is an exceptionally exciting young male who has had our attention from the start! He combines the phenotype we strive for with a calm, confident demeanor and an outstanding fleece. Lynx exhibits impressive coverage from head to toe, carrying a highly aligned fleece with exceptional brightness, fineness, and uniformity throughout. His sire, Red Granites Alydar by Val D Lsere, co-owned with Tierra Prometida Alpaca Ranch, needs little introduction. Alydar has established himself as a highly influential sire, producing champions from coast to coast, including offspring who have gone on to earn National Supreme Champion titles. His consistency as a breeding male has also earned him multiple Futurity Herdsire of the Year honors. Lynx’s dam, Red Granites Lady Luck, is a multi-champion true black female and daughter of Estates Satin Cloud, a son of Snowmass Satin Reserve XX who now resides in Europe. Her maternal pedigree brings together the influential genetics of Snowmass Andean Midnight and Patagonia’s Ernesto. Beyond her own show success, Lady Luck has proven herself where it matters most, as a consistently strong producer of high-quality, dark-colored progeny. Lynx will be hitting the ring as part of our Fall 2026 show team, come see him in person!

Sunny Magnum Opus is a stunning roan colored male!! He has striking uniformity of micron within his fleece, but also for his depth of grey genetics that have a chance to blend very well with the genetic lines we have here at RGR...! We thank Sunny Alpacas for offering him at the 2025 EDU Auction. His sire 357 Magnum, is out of MFI Jabberwoch, a 3-time Champion roan colored male who descends from LMFI Peruvian Black Midnight and Snowmass Andean Bronze - two auction hig-selling males who have both propelled the U.S. industry forward. The dams side brings in Emerland Farm's Orlando Cloud, a multi-champion classic grey stud male who had a profound impact on the grey herds. 357 Magnum himself is a 7-time Champion, Spirit of the Industry, and 11-time Advanced Fleece Award winner. Magnum carries through with excellent staple organization, density, and fine secondaries even into his extremities. His dam, Starshire's Cerridwen Steel, is a 2-time Champion classic grey daughter of Neversummer's US Steel. Neversummer's US Steel is a multi-champion in his own right but is also a 3-time Futurity Herdsire of the Year winner in the highly competitive small breeder division. Her dam is a daughter of Snowmass Enlightenment and out of a Bisturi dam - a lethal combination of highly competitive grey animals if you ask us! Take a look at his fleece photos at right. He sports an exceptionally soft fleece with length to the staple and a consistent crimp style from skin to tip.

Red Granites Paradox is lethal! This young male has had our attention from the beginning, combining an exciting phenotype with a juvenile fleece profile that is difficult to ignore. His first histogram came back at an exceptional 14.5 AFD, 3.1 SD, 21.2 CV, and 56.6 Mean Curvature, giving us plenty of reason to be excited about what lies ahead. Paradox is backed by a maternal line that has already made its mark internationally, with two of his maternal siblings now residing at EP Cambridge Alpaca Stud. That kind of international interest in this maternal family only adds to the excitement surrounding this young male. Fine, uniform, highly organized, and carrying the genetic backing to make things even more interesting, Paradox has all the ingredients of a male we believe could become incredibly influential.

"THE DARK MATRIX...." Snowmass Matrix Rose represents a supreme evolution of more than 5 generations of deep super proven lineages. He carries a magical combination of Snowmass' best genetics. Snowmass Matrix Rose's maternal lineage is just as notable as his sires, Snowmass Matrix. Snowmass Matrix Rose is the only standing son of one of their best Dams, Snowmass Golden Rose. Snowmass Golden Rose was sired by Snowmass Royal Rose, and her Dam, is one of Snowmass' most notable Legacy Gold daughters, Snowmass Golden Lace. This maternal line is as Royal and super as they come in colored alpacas. Snowmass Matrix Rose carries a direct lineage to Snowmass Royal Rose, Peruvian Hemingway, PPPeruvian Cahuide, Peruvian Caligula, 6Peruvian Accoyo Elite, and not to mention their very best Snowmass Quechua. Snowmass Matrix Rose has placed at the top of the most competitive shows in the country to date. "We are extremely excited about this young male who we are crazy to relate so soon." Stated from Snowmass Alpacas, Julie & Don Skinner. Snowmass Matrix Rose, coined "The Dark Matrix" and for a good reason. Matrix Rose has consistently given us generation after generation of herdsire greatness to each breeding. Bringing extremely dense and bright fleeces to his offspring! Without Snowmass Matrix Rose we wouldn't have Val D Lsere today, and we praise Rose for the line he has started for us. "We know that you can only move forward with a stud like this and vert much look forward to hearing about the success of Snowmass Matrix Rose and his career in the Elite progeny he will produce for you." Stated from Snowmass Alpacas, Julie & Don Skinner. In 2021, 90% of our show winners (color/reserve champions) came from the Matrix Rose line. 100% of our judges’ choice winners came from the Matrix rose line. He is still producing champions, folks and is OPEN for breedings. Cross him with your best females and watch a champion come to life. Accepting females for spring of 2022, after that we will not offer any breedings until august of 2022.

Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose (Sizzy) is a simply divine light brown, male with extremely bright fleece, full of high-frequency high amplitude Mirco bundles, as well as carrying a very dense fleece with an amazing handle. Several of the top Judges have called him "The Total Package." With him being an exceptional twelve-time champion, including the 2012 AOBA National Alpaca Show Halter Color Champion & 2012 The Futurity Halter Color Champion. Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose has been breeding for us for several years now and we couldn't be more pleased with the amount of improvement he has made to our herd. In 2014, we consigned Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose to the 2014 Amber Autumn Auction (AAA) and he ended up selling for $90,000, making him the highest-selling Snowmass Matrix Rose offspring to date. He was sold to Daryl and Shirley Krause of Amber Autumn Alpacas in Oregon. A year later we ended up acquiring half ownership of Sizzy with both of us, Amber Autumn Alpacas and Red Granite Ranch, closing Sizzy to all outside breedings. Though his offspring will be offered at both ranches and depending on the year, some outside breedings may be offered. We, Red Granite Ranch and Amber Autumn Alpacas are very happy to announce that Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose won the 2016 Huacaya Herdsire Of The Year, large breeder Division, as well as the 2017 Reserve Herdsire Of The Year Dark-colored offspring, large breeder Division. Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose was mentioned in The American Alpaca Journal, Issue 2, January 2020 in the “Black Ring Demographics” where Sizzy appeared in the top five genetic contributors to the winning black groups in the 2018-19 black ring. Impressive indeed. His ~250 Registered offspring have won around 200 championship banners and 4 AOA National Dark Male Supreme Championships as of 2026. Sizzy is the sire to RED GRANITES VAL D LSERE the 2016, 2017, and 2018 AOA National Dark Male Supreme Championship winner & LIBERTY'S MANIFEST-DESTINY the 2020 AOA National Dark Male Supreme Championship winner. 4 Dark Male Supreme Championship trophies have been sired by Sizzy, no other sire has accomplished this!! Sizzy is now soley owned by Red Granite Ranch, and we have decided to close him to further outside breedings. Bred females can be acquired as can his offspring!

"This male is something special, an honor to be judging him." - 2018 AOA National Show after winning his third Supreme Championship. 28-time Get of Sire Winner, 2X Herdsire of the Year & 4X Herdsire of the Year Dark-Colored Offspring In the thoroughbred industry, it's often said that you breed the best to the best and then hope for the best. That certainly wasn't the case when Red Granites Val D Lsere took out the Dark Male Supreme Champion award at the AOA National Show for three consecutive years in a row -- all the ingredients were there for a born champion recipe, and they were expertly combined and brilliantly presented. Red Granites Val D Lsere is ONE IN A MILLION. Our first ever alpaca to reach vicuna fine fleece at 13.9 microns with intense curvature at 64.6, making profound impressions in the huacaya breeding programs in his first breeding years, and will continue for many more years to come, he is the TRUE definition of the ideal huacaya. His fleece has been described numerous times by international judges as the most highly developed fleece they have ever seen. Val D Lsere and his successes make him one of the most successful alpacas in US history and judges have said he is the best they have seen. He has a very bright, extraordinarily dense, fine fleece with a merino-type crimp style. Val is a very compact male with a very strong heavy bone structure. All of these traits are being seen in his offspring. He rapidly rose to a legendary level and is, without a doubt, one of the most significant alpacas ever to be born at Red Granite Ranch and possibly in the US, and is one of the most highly decorated alpacas in the world. Val D Lsere is truly revolutionary for the next generation of Huacaya fleeces and genetics. He has produced colors all across the spectrum, including rose and silver-grey. He has already produced AOA National Champions & Futurity Champions. He is shown to be EXTREMELY POTENT with producing top-quality animals no matter the color of the offspring or dam. If you get your hands on his genetics do not let go of them, they are PRICELESS. Offspring have sold for auction at high prices of $40K, $41K, and even $130K!! Considering only two of his offspring lay outside of the US, his lines are extremely favorable here in the US, so if you get a hold of his genetics do not let them go! Fiber and Fleece Description EXQUISITE in all respects. Merino and Vicuna's qualities are pushed together. Red Granites Val D Lsere is the Herdsire who is dominating the New Generation. He is a restricted herdsire, no outside breedings are offered. Offspring may be offered at auction or through private sales (on very rare occasions). 2022 #1 National High Point Huacaya Male 2022 #2, #7, & #8 National High Point Huacaya Female 2023 #10 National High Point Huacaya Female, Halter 2023 #3, #4, & #10 National High Point Huacaya Male, Fleece

Red Granites Bad Boy is a very unique male, his special features just go on and on, his most recognizable trait is his incredible head style. His sire, Snowmass Premonition, also had this head style which comes from Snowmass Accoyocusani. Premonition comes from the very well known Snowmass Sub-Zero line creating the LOW CV & LOW SD vaules with incredible head types that we all want in our programs. One of Bad Boy's other exceptional traits is his low micron and CV vaules which are both staying under 20 for most of his current lifetime, this is what we are striving for on ELITE Herdsires. The best part about this is he can easily cover color considering his lineage, making this a perfect opportunity to improve our color-side of the herd and bring in all these vaules into them, creating some of the BEST colored animals we can offer with elite fiber statistics to back them up. Snowmass Matrix Breckenridge, his dam, sits with an incomparable amount of WORLD-CLASSIC genetics. She is sired by the ever great -- Snowmass Matrix and by one of Snowmass Alpacas former best production females before releasing her at an annual auction who of which we own, Snowmass Cashmina a Snowmass XXXtreme daughter and Peruvian Hemingway granddaughter via dam. If you are not familiar with Cashmina try her daughter Snowmass Cashmina Gold the dam to: Snowmass Smokin (Former lead dark sire at Snowmass & Quechua Enterprises), Snowmass Kahuna Cashmina (2X Futurity Champion), or Snowmass Celestial XX the dam to Snowmass Divine Legacy XX. So, Matrix Breckenridge is lined up with PROVEN breeding success, and her line has created a few of the best colored animals Snowmass Alpacas has produced. So when we combined the Snowmass Sub-Zero line with Snowmass Matrix and Snowmass XXXtreme we got a LOW CV, LOW SD, HIGH CURV, INCREDIBLY BRIGHT AND FINE, future herdsire, and one of which who can improve both light and dark programs. Fiber and Fleece Description Uniformity and fineness with high frequency staples expressed all across his blanket. FINENESS GRADE 0 ages 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 years old FINENESS GRADE 2 age 6 years old FINENESS GRADE 2 CURRENT age 8 Progeny Description/Data From seven offspring we collected data from there first year histograms. Bad Boy is a strong herdsire that we use to improve a females SD and CV traits.

ALABAMA SHEARED A WEIGHT OF 13.2 POUNDS THIS YEAR! And is in the TOP 1% of Fleece Weight in his 2021 EPDs! Red Granites Alabama is an extremely stylish male that has always catches peoples' eye. He has a pedigree that is packed, despite only having 3 Sires named in his pedigree (due to imports) - PPeruvian Caligula (Top and Bottom side), 4Peruvian Legacy, Peruvain Apatia, and Caligula's Accoyo Poseidon. Alabama's exceptionally long staple no doubt comes all the way down from PPeruvian Caligula crossed with 4Peruvain Legacy (Pearl Jam is known for producing dense but long fleece staples). His sire, Greener Pastures Pearl Jam, is multi-champion and a two-time Judges' Choice winner, taking blues/reds at AOBA Nationals, AOA Nationals, and the Futurity against Snowmass animals. He is also a direct son of Caligula's Accoyo Poseidon. Dam, Crescent Moon's Accoyo Aloma, is a direct daughter of 6Peruvain Accoyo Godfather and is a graddaughter to PPeruvian Caligula via dam. In 2016, Aloma sported a 20.8 micron and sheared 7.3 pounds of fleece! He carries a double-dose of PPeruvian Caligula (hint, hint heavy fleece weights + exceptional brightness!). His crias are bound to have Caligula's features. Alabama has a strong breeding background -- bound for great things. He has settled females quickly and easily as a 3-year-old and in 2020 presented us with a knockout beige male, Red Granites Paderaux from a white Snowmass Premonition granddaughter, Red Granites Truely Pearlina. Paderaux's fleece is exceptional - dense, crimpy, bright, soft and uniform. Alabama's 2019 fleece was 4 inches long! Comments from the 2018 Fall Festival Fleece Show: "Incredible handle with good density and impressive brightness. Superior organization. Congrats!" Breed to Alabama for improved fleece weight, finer fleeces, staple length and less overall fiber medullation. He is open for breedings and ready for service.

Mach-4 represents a unique blend of some of the best gray genetics that exists in the world today, Mach 4 is the product of 4 generations of tuxedo gray alpacas in A Paca Fun Farms breeding program. On both sides of Mach 4’s pedigree are stacked with layers of multi champions too numerous to list here. Red Granites Aragon is one of the finest highest curve fawn fleeced stud males in our breeding program. He has routinely stayed in a the limits of the Royal Alpaca fleece stats, even as a breeding male with crias on ground. He is our main goal as a huacaya breeder, lasting fineness with density. His line lineage is quite unique with a Fawn Sire: CCNF Legionnaire, a son of Snowmass Matrix Majesty who is now deceased. His Dam is one of our finest .38 Special daughters, Crescent Moon's Anna Lucia, who has produced multiple Futurity & National Champions in an array of dark-colors. Aragon is by far her best son produced thus far. Red Granites Aragon is a striking medium fawn, award-winning male. He has a very beautiful fleece. Aragon carries an extremely soft fine, yet very dense fleece, with amazing brightness to add on. He carries a full fleece body of high-frequency low amplitude fleece with small individual little bundles throughout, and is very consistent throughout the body. He has carried a Grade 0 fleece since is first shearing, which is amazing considering he is now a 5 year old breeding male. We took Aragon to a few shows but didn't return until he was of mature age due to his extreme qualities. Aragon blossomed a little late into his show career. He wasn't on our showing list until fall of 2017 but never returned on our list till TXOLAN in 2018 where he was awarded a 2nd place and Reserve Color Champion. After that point, he was winning anything above 3rd places. At the National Western Stock Show in 2020 at 3 years of age, he was awarded the 2020 Grand Champion male, as a 3-year-old!! We then brought Aragon to the 2020 AOA National Show and he did not disappoint us! As a 42.8-month-old male, he came home with the Fawn AOA National Color Champion win. He has produced colors in all colors, championships winners and top show placers! This includes 13X Champion, Red Granites Lionheart, and 31X Champion & 2X Grade 0 Most Uniform winner, Ironhide Vapor (owned by Ironhide Alpacas & Aspen Alpaca Company). His progeny maintain his elite fineness and uniformity levels on show-winning, typey phenotypes. Fiber and Fleece Description Carries a great high curve 5 years remained to have a high curve 66.6, and high frequency of crimps Excellent brightness and extreme consistency of fiber character over the entire blanket Red Granites Aragon (AOA# 35123040) was biopsied at 10 years old as a Medium Fawn huacaya male. His fiber clusters are very uniform in shape and placement. Aragon shows level 2 of 4 gland presence. His S/P ratio is 14.9:1, and his density averaged 85.5 follicles per S/M of skin. He has 5% medullated fibers. His secondary fibers average 19.4 microns, and his primary fibers average 25.5 microns. His S/P spread is 6.1 microns, and his AFD is 19.8 microns. He is in the Top 1% for huacayas of his age and the Top 13% overall for density.

Co-Owned with Kern and Rhonda Deschner of Tierra Prometida Alpaca Ranch When is comes to this male right here, he is simply one of a kind. You could not ask for more, the epitome of excellence: Red Granites Alydar By Val D Lsere. There has never been a Grey Alpaca to stir up as much commotion as this one, and probably never will be. For all that have seen and judged this male, he has been represented as the IDEAL standard for grey fleece. The evenness of his fineness and the astounding density and uniformity that is found within his blanket is simply incomparable. It is a very advanced, high-frequency crimp style from skin to tip, rarely seen in his color group. This crimp style continues right down the leg and into his belly area, also running up through the neck all in a very uniform manner. Judges’ have described his fleece as “angel-like and delicate” with “superior uniformity of micron” and carrying the “dangerous combination of fineness and density”. Alydar was shown at one of the highest level shows, Nationals, and took first place as a juvenile, yearling, 2-year-old, and mature male, he also did so at The Futurity, taking a first place as both a yearling and 2-year-old and then moved into the champion circle. He also won the 2021 Futurity Judges' Choice Male & 2023 AOA National Dark Male Supreme Champion trophy. Many juveniles place well the first year but the real test is if they can stand the same position or even better position the following years, and hold onto their exceptional traits. He has a total of 41 Championship banners, 10 Judges' Choice awards, a Supreme Championship, a Grand Champion, and 2 Spirit of the Industry wins to his name, not to mention he was named the #1 National High Point Huacaya Male in 2022 & #3 National High Point Huacaya Male in Fleece for 2023. He became the first gray to win the prestigious Futurity Judges’ Choice award & to win a National Supreme Championship trophy, and also became the second gray alpaca to have won over 45 Championship banners. Nothing about him has wavered in his fleece or body in his maturity over the years. Alydar comes from a generation after generation of champion alpacas. His lineage includes Herdsire of the Year winners: VAL D LSERE, MR SIZLIN ROSE, and MATRIX while also including top color producing sires: MATRIX ROSE, CONOPA, VALENTINO, THELONIUS, KIRWIN, CASANOVA, and SIZLIN HOT. Red Granites Jamison is a stunning classic grey Herdsire, offering presence, genetic depth, and stunning phenotype. His fleece is exceptionally fine for a grey male, carrying distinct vicuña-like characteristics; soft, silky handle paired with brightness and a highly desirable, uniform architecture. Even as a maturing male, Jamison continues to hold impressive fineness, maintaining a 23.8 micron fleece in 2024, a testament to both his genetic consistency and long-term value. Jamison’s pedigree is a powerful blend of some of the most influential grey genetics in the industry. His sire, Crescent Moon’s Gun Power & Lead, stems from generations of elite grey alpacas, highlighted by the legendary Aussie .38 Special, one of the most recognized and respected grey herdsires worldwide, known for transmitting density, fineness, and true classic grey color. On the maternal side, Jamison is equally impressive. His dam, Ulio Hembra Juaka, is a two-time Grey Color Champion female, bringing both phenotype and proven show-ring success to his lineage. She is sired by Mile High Deacon Grey, a Futurity Champion known for producing offspring with exceptional fleece quality, structure, and consistency. Jamison's maternal-sister, Red Granites Jenga, is a multi-champion female who has produced three exceptional multi-champion progeny for us! With his combination of elite grey lineage, sustained fineness, and desirable fleece traits, Red Granites Jamison stands as a valuable breeding male capable of advancing both color and quality in any serious program.

Red Granites Achilles has a World Class pedigree, that includes Peruvian Caligula, 4Peruvian Legacy on both his dam's and sire's side, and 6Peruvian Elite, etc. All of these males were selectively chosen from Peru a while back and have made a HUGE impact in the alpaca industry, bringing tones of density and fineness. Achilles has rock-solid bone density, truly dazzling brightness with an abundance of fleece through both density and fleece length, which is very nice to have in a white program. So, overall he is a stunning looking Stud: not surprising with Peruvian Caligula, 4Peruvian Legacy on both his dam's and sire's side, and 6Peruvian Elite in his pedigree! Daughter, Red Granites Violet (born 2020) had her 2021 Histogram test in at: 17.4, 3.4, 19.8, 0.1, 54.6, 16.8! Not to mention she got a first at the 2021 AOA National Fleece Show & was the 2021 ABR Fall Festival White Female Champion! We think that Achilles will take our program to the next level. Contact to secure a breeding to this amazing male, we are limiting them.

Stunning from all angles this CCNF Legionnaire son will catch your eye. This male is big featured with plenty of capacity and substance of bone, and was bred to be a prepotent male in uniformity and lasting fineness while keeping his intense curvature rates, which was an overall success. Red Granites McCoy is a Dark Fawn/Light Brown stud male who exhibites superfine, uniform and soft handling fiber characteristics which we have seen him pass on to his crias. His tremendously bright fleece is dense, consistent and well organised in its style of crimp right to his extremities. He is a beautiful true to type macho, has a great phenotype that is addictive to look at and solid bone structure, very stocky, together with a very easy temperament to manage. He is a recent and highly prized addition to our huacaya stud males, along with his paternal superstar brother: Red Granites Aragon, and it was the consistently repeated superior fiber characteristics in his fleeces and sire line which made him a “must have”. He is ranked in Top 1% in EPDs in 2020: 248 of about 27,388 alpacas for AFD! He is also in the Top 5% in three other traits. His progeny exhibit consistently fine, extremely bright and dense fleeces on a very good frame. We are breeding him to our top Val D Lsere daughters and the outcomes have been something words cannot describe. We expect McCoy to take on his sire's role as a top producer here at Red Granite Ranch. From what we have bred him to he produces fawn, brown, and black. His dam, Our Mary Jane, is a Snowmass XXXQuisite (2008 AOBA National Brown Male Reserve Color Champion, Fleece) daughter, he is son to Snowmass XXXTreme and Chima. Mary Jane's dam, Snowmass Wind Song is a daughter to Snowmass Conopa XXX and Followill Cotton Jenny (4Peruvian Legacy daughter). Sire, CCNF Legionnaire is a multi-judges' choice winner, and is son to Snowmass Matrix Majesty (Snowmass Matrix X Snowmass Simply Scrumptious) and CCNF Magdalena (Snowmass Legacy Gold X PPeruvian Jesusa). In a long line of distinguished offspring, this will be the last herdsire created by WWF Accoyo's Betsy Ross as we lost her a couple years ago to old age. Betsy Ross was a rare direct daughter of PPeruvian Camilio and she has contributed to some of the strongest lines that Crescent Moon Ranch and Red Granite Ranch have seen. A maternal brother to Red Granites MR Ben Franklin (Now resides in Germany as a lead brown herdsire, National Brown Champion) and Red Granites Sizlin Bea (National Black Champion), Badger is extraodinarily dense with extreme frequency to his fleece. Covered from head to toe, Badger packs an enormous quantity of bright, dense, and fine fleece onto a frame that is eye catching. A wide muzzle and chest will enhance this male's breeding capabilties and allow him to produce for years to come. If you have done your research, you can see just from his sires production line is rather successful, and his dams rate of producing a wide variety of champion colored crias is also successful, making us say that his genetics will undoubtedly create superior and world class quality crias. UPDATE: Badger’s first offspring, Freeta, displays an exceptional fleece that has the WOW factor! And for that reason he has many, many more dates in 2023!

This is precisely what the market is looking for in terms of World Classic colored genetics and something we are concentrating very hard at reproducing and it is quite rare and very exciting to have them in one alpaca, let alone all of Casper's full siblings. Casper's full-sister, Red Granites Cinnamon By Val D Lsere is a multi-champion and multi-judges' choice winner, who sold to a Belgium Breeder in 2020. His younger full-brother, RGR Colo Lsere By Val D Lsere took top honors as being awarded the 2023 AOA National Show White Male Color Champion The fleece that Casper carries is beyond words can explain. The amount of fineness, brightness, density, and uniformity that sits on his body frame is amazing. The only way we can describe his fleece for those of who have not viewed him is he has merino fleece qualities, the high frequency fleece structuring with the blinding brightness and unbelievable amount of density, all in matchstick size staples. These amazing fleece qualities are what have brought this male to the top of his class at every show. Casper was awarded the 2021 US Futurity White Male Color Champion banner and was awarded the AOA National Show Fleece Show White Male Reserve Champion banner, being beat by .5 in length. Even further, Casper is a 2-time Spirit of the Industry winner in Fleece - under two different judges'! We never expected a male of this caliber to be white considering we are predominantly color breeders, so we are very excited to see what the rest of this males future holds and can not wait to share it with the Alpaca Industry! We are open to selling half. Red Granites Casper by Val D Lsere (AOA# 36081257) was biopsied at 6-years and 10-months old as a White huacaya male. His density is well above average. He shows 3 of 4 gland presence. His S/P ratio is 17.4:1, and his density is 95.0 S/M of skin. His secondary fibers average 24.6 microns, and primary fibers average 31.2 microns. He has 60% medullated fibers. His S/P spread is 6.6 microns, and his AFD is 25.0 microns. He is in the Top 1% for density among males his age and the top 5% for density overall.

This well grown, upstanding, true to type male has exceptional fleece qualities and great phenotype. With color in his background, we expect him to produce extreme COLORED and WHITE offspring! Red Granites Bracken By Val D Lsere exhibits excellent brightness within his fleece and is very fine with good density, well organized crimp that bundles and excellent staple. All these traits you would expect as a son of our very own, Red Granites Val D Lsere. His sire needs little -- to no introduction as he has claimed three AOA National Dark Male Supreme Championships, and was the 2021 Futurity Herdsire of the Year, 2021 Futurity Reserve Light Herdsire of the Year, and 2021, 2022, and 2023 Futurity Dark Herdsire of the Year. In our opinion, he stands as one of the most distinguished colored huacaya males in the world. Red Granites Bracken's Dam, HDF Peruvian Batista, was one of the finest animals from Heart's Desire Farm, she was rated as one of the best they have produced. Batista had a first year histogram test of 12.2 with a curv of 62.9, second year 14.9, fifth year of 18.8. Her progeny have elite fiber traits and big bones and have all made their way into our foundation herd, which says a lot. She brings lingering fineness to the table. Bracken himself had a yearling histogram that reads: 16, 3.7, 22.8, 0.4, CURV 55.1 SPIN FINE 15.9 and a fourth year histogram that reads: 19.8, 4.0, 20.4, 1.9, CURV 53.9, SPIN FINE 19.2. His micron went up 3.8 microns and SD went up 0.3. This is a genetic trait from his dam: LINGERING FINENESS & UNIFORMITY. It was no surprise that Bracken was the primary excitement during his show career winning many championships and was still winning Best Bred & Owned banners as a 2-Year-old breeding male. One of the championships was at the 2021 AOA National Show where he placed behind the light male Supreme Championship winner. He also took 1st place as a yearling at the Futurity 2021. He recently took the 2022 TXOLAN Sweetheart Spectacular Best Bred & Owned Male Award under Amanda V, and at the 2022 TXOLAN Bluebonnet Stakes side he won his class but lost to our Dark Fawn Val D Lsere son for the Best Bred & Owned Male award judges by Diana T. For those wanting to improve phenotype, fineness, and uniformity while adding high-frequency bundles, consider Bracken. Color Genotype: ee Aa2 (non-grey) Red Granites Bracken will produce white to true black depending on how he is bred. Fleece Description High-frequency staples expressed in a very uniform manner across his body. Excellent brightness is expressed within his fleece. Good density and staple growth.

Intense brightness, long staple, incredible fineness and density, and let' s not forget the overwhelming amount of consistency, he is the TOTAL PACKAGE. It was quite a surprise that he was born beige considering his PURE WHITE lineage, but we aren't complaining as he can now easily be put with any color. His sire, Creed (multiple championship wins including two wins at Nationals) is is son to Crescent Moon's Elite's Crescendo and El Nino's Accoyo Cassandra. Between Creeds parents we see: 6Peruvian Accoyo Elite, Peruvian Hemingway, PPeruvian Caligula, and PPeruvian Vengador, along with three outstanding Peruvian imported dams, all of which are white. On the dams, MFI Peruvian Criativity's side we see: Peruvian Hemingway, Peruvian Glacier, and PPPeruvian Natividad and three Peruvian imported white dams. The genetic potency here with Peruvian Hemingway showing up on both Chisholm's maternal and paternal sides is something we cannot wait to see. Chisholm is by far the leading son of Creed, we have yet to see his actual potency with breeding considering his young age but his show record as a juvenile speaks for itself; two reserve championship wins in halter and a color championship, plus judges' choice win with his juvenile fleece at a fleece show under Amanda V. with a amazing score of 88/100 points. Though not under AOA, he was awarded the Judges' Choice. Amanda has told us this male is one to watch in the future and will without a doubt be a ELITE herdsire prospect. Red Granites Chisholm exhibits an extreme fine, extremely bright, dense, and very consistent fleece which is seen in the extension into his extremities. He is a incredible looking male which he gets from all of the amazing sires and dams throughout his pedigree.
